Maddux, purchased at the Merawah Sale 2007, is the first Poll Sire to reside at Mawarra. We have enjoyed many visits to Merawah & have always been impressed with their breeding herd; big, easy doing, volume cows with lots of milk. We were keen to use this young sire with his pedigree combining a strong maternal line with the consistent breeding Maddux 4L has shown throughout Australia. His first five sons were offered in 2010, they included $4,500 Lot 31 Handsome, $4,000 Lot 33 High Time & $3,000 Lot 34 Honorary. We have 27 of his young daughters in herd and are pleased with how they are growing out. |

Xcitement was Grand Champion Adelaide Royal 2004 & Senior Champion Sydney Royal 2005. He sold to Merawah for $25,000. We are very "Xcited" about his progeny at Mawarra. He was Sire of Lot 25 Foundation and Lot 26 First Class in our 2008 Sale, and Gunsmoke, Lot 33 in our 2009 catalogue. His three sons at Mawarra have sold to $6,000 and we have six daughters retained. |

Boulder was Junior Champion at the Dubbo Poll Hereford National & sold for $30,000. His calves are very small at birth & grow out extremely well. His first son at Mawarra Gilchrist, sold for $4,000 in 2009. He was represented by another very good son in 2010, M. Hostage, he was purchased by Mr K Ingram for $10,000. We currently have six daughters retained. |

Wideload was sold for the top price of $28,000 at the Merawah on property sale 2005. He is out of a magnificent cow, M. Shamrock M60. Wideload's son, M. Ferrari, was the $7,500 top selling Poll Bull at our 2008 sale. He was represented in our 2009 catalogue by two sons including, $2,500 M. Gunpowder. In 2010 another son, M. Honorable, sold for $4,500. We have five Wideload daughters retained in herd. |

Aberdeen is out of an excellent cow. He is clean polled and combines appearance with impressive EBV's. His calves at Mawarra show enourmous potential, his first son M. Grandslam topped our sale in 2009 selling for $18,000 to Congou Poll H S, Cootamundra, N.S.W. His four daughters are retained in herd and we have a promising ET son born Autumn 2009. |
